TANDBERG Unveils First-of-Its-Kind PC Video Conferencing Solution (10th October 2006)

Continuing its track record for industry-leading innovation, TANDBERG(r) (OSLO: TAA.OL) today announced a first-of-its-kind solution, called Movi, that makes this a reality. It allows busy professionals to enjoy PC-based, visual communication from anywhere at anytime without making an appointment with the IT department.
Movi is a server-based video application for the enterprise market that re-defines ease of use. Users can click to initiate video calls in one of three places: a link from a meeting invite, a permanent link on a corporate intranet, or an address in the Movi directory. All that is required is a webcam, microphone, speakers and a computer with an Internet connection. Movi does the rest, seamlessly connecting users to a full video infrastructure via the Movi window.
The Movi solution allows employees to visually communicate with colleagues for enhanced productivity - anywhere they may be. Employees no longer have to solely rely on their phone for important meetings or feel out of touch when working at home or on the road. Face-to-face collaboration occurs right on the PC, speeding decision-making, leveraging remote expertise and unifying organizations. It's video at your fingertips - a must have tool for productivity.
Movi is the first PC video product to feature one-touch installation, and IT departments can manage Movi centrally through the Web. With no locally installed software, updates, diagnostics and measurement are much simpler than with other PC video tools.
