Polycom's VSX 5000 is a compact video conferencing solution for small meeting rooms and the home office. The Polycom VSX 5000 will conference over ISDN, IP or SIP and has a footprint small enough to sit on a small plasma or LCD display to create an effective solution for 3/4 people in even the smallest meeting room.

When you need a video conferencing system for a small or remote office within your organisation, then the Polycom VSX 5000 is an ideal and cost effective solution.

VSX 5000 supports all of today's latest video and audio protocols, such as h.264 and Siren14 HD audio and also Polycom's ProMotion, which means you get great quality video. There is even an additional camera input for a document camera or a DVD player.

It supports the use of an XGA display as your primary monitor and will even support dual displays if you wish to show people on one display and a presentation on the other.

You should be aware that the camera on the VSX 5000 has a limited electronic pan and tilt capability together with a 2x digital zoom. So your ability to zoom in on participants is limited.
